When UK people wake up, stop believing the eco-right wing plonkers who don't pay attention to the right details and also stop believing the fear rhetoric being spouted.
We need to be far more skeptical, inquiring and open minded-oh and clever in our activism. Narrow agendas are a waste of time, as are piss poor narrow badly thought out viewpoints. We should ignore the fear mongering-not just on the environment but on terrorism and other areas. Find out who's benefitting from fear politics on all levels, question this far more deeply.
This doesn't stop us paying attention to genuine environmental concerns-the skeptism I talk about has to apply in all directions. What do we do that WILL make a real genuine difference and not just make us "feel good". What can we invent, change, avoid or use that genuinely helps or at least has minimal environmental impact.
We don't need all this fear based tax the driver bullcrap. It's an easy target-like speeding is nothing like the danger they make out it is. It's just an easy pound or two, little work, max profit. Which is easily hidden in various guises to make out it's not profit. Do the government go for anything complicated or difficult to profit from in their green agenda? No. They go for the easiest money ever. Just because some readers are eco-right and uber greenie, doesn't mean they should automatically believe such fear taxation rhetoric. Question far more deeply, get your science as right as possible, be more investigative, help find far better solutions. Or we can all be sheep, go with the trendy "support green taxes" agenda or "be seen to be anti environmental". Are we people or simply sheep that do as they are told and feel guilty for questioning those wise people that believe tax fixes complicated problems?

This green tax they go on about is a load of bulls***, we only put 2% of the worlds carbon monoxide into the air. It's just another way of dipping their hands into your pocket. Is it only the general public that can see now we have given our country away we are bankrupt. Now we are reading migrants into our land are to be given tests to make sure they know all about the benefit system. How about a bit of charity at home Blair and Brown, how about looking after the ordinary people that made this country Great.
I walked aroung Tesco on Sunday and bumped into an asian woman about 70 year old with her whatever they call it held up to her mouth and I though what the hell economic benefit are you to Great Britain, you are here taking benefits that I have paid for all my life. I wish somebody would explain to me what's going on.

Global warming is partly manmade therefore politicians and citizens need to act together to reduce greenhouse gases. Think green. For example car pooling for work and college would help to reduce greenhouse gases and make the air slightly more cleaner and healthier from car exhaust fumes.Plant a few more trees.
