you always dream...its your mind.
but sometimes youll think u never dream since u never remember your dreams---the reason for this is because of the dream cycles--your brain goes through several cycles, and you are more likely to remember the dream if you wake up in the middle of a deep sleep.
you then forget them, slowly slowly.
i dont think its possible to not dream!!!

No. Dreaming is said to be the brains sub consious way of relaxing. Even if you dont remember your dreams you still have them. Its been reported that the reason you remember your dream is because you wake up in the middle of them, or very shortly after having them. And they only last mybe 30-45 seconds.

I recall reading of a study where scientists would allow someone to sleep until they started dreaming- then they'd wake the person up. Although the subject got a normal amount of sleep they became delerious and delusional from not having dreamt.

In fact, yes. This frequently happens when you are drunk.

I have a backache, so I dream all through the night, which means that I don't feel rested in the morning. However, I drink myself into a stupor in the evening before, I wake up well rested and feeling good.
