Do you really want some stranger to name YOUR boat? The name should be interesting, have meaning, maby a story, or possibly some historical value. It shouldn't be tacky, or crass. Your vessel is a lady and should be treated as such. Take care of her, and she'll take care of you. There is alot more to a vessels name than decals or paint.

We named our boat "Dunrowin" and used an old english sort of a font. It takes people a second to get it, but we are done rowing!!
My husband is a computer guy, we were contemplating the name Sea Plus Plus. (instead of C++ the computer language).
How about " The Last Boat II" everyone says their next boat is their last one. I think it's a pretty funny name.
Good luck with your boat name. Try taking a play off of your hobby, family name, or profession. It's a tough thing to decide.

I agree that the boat's name is personal and should be well thought out. My Boat will be named the "Evangline Ruth" after my mother of course and will be either a tug or live-in cruiser. There many sources to give you an idea but stick to something that warms your heart and you'll give her a soul to love and steal your heart. I like the old English warship names like HMS Indefatigable or HMS Dauntless, which would look pretty cute on a Capri.
