JAVA ICON POPS UP BRIEFLY, THEN AN "X" APPEARS IN IT'S PLACE. SAYS TEXT LOADING, BUT NEVER DOES. AM NOT ABLE TO PLAY YAHOO SPADES.

Its a java glitch I just tried and got right in,and this will work with all games!
JAVA has a small font glitch.Plus many other problems. If java is launching your games The coffee cup logo while loading. Go to start button, settings, go to control panel open internet options. advance tab,scroll down and see if msn VM is listed,if so, unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. This lets msn vm launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time. i play games about every night with no problems using these settings. a little red "X" means you have a java issue
Update.......Make sure you pop up blocker is off (top of your browser in tools)and once in the lounge click "options" bottom left of lounge and choose the small tables option...... -- If you cant log into chat/games it is because Yahoo's browser has issues with SUN java as default. The Virtual Machine Java works well with yahoo. Yahoo is Java dependant.
This is also the reason for the games applets not loading and some web cam issues. The easiest fix is to update , make sure all your windows are updated
