word has it that shelton didnt try very hard on his mic skills and charisma when asked to.
hence the lack of good storylines (and the whole "mama's boy" thing).

I must say I agree. He's one of only a few left well-rounded wrestlers in this business. He's been so innovative with ladders, he could be ranked up there with Edge and RVD. But at the same time, he's a very talented traditional wrestler who could also be ranked up with people like Kurt Angle. He's been underutilized for a long time now. They don't have to give him a manager though to get fans on his side. If you saw Vengeance, Carlito had a small promo backstage with Torrie Wilson. It was pretty funny. Within a matter of weeks, he went from one of the most hated wrestlers in the WWE, to one of the most popular people on RAW. Give Shelton the chance he deserves.

honestly Rob Van Dam. yet i'd might want to assert RVD. He may have continually been held in severe regards, yet for 5 years he by no skill made it previous the better mid card position. unusual thinking at the same time as he got here into WWE in '01 he became the significant ECW represntitive. He became the ECW unique, Booker T became the WCW unique, anybody else turned right into a longtime WWE guy (even if or not that they had routes in ECW or WCW). to tutor off his ECW routes, he became the Hardcore Champion and infact significant evented a PPV alongside with Austin and perspective. The tournament became booked as if RVD can be a severe probability to Austin's call. After the fall down of the Alliance RVD became the significant secondary champion. Six IC reigns, which blanketed him unifying the belt with both the Hardcore and ecu titles. In '06 He may ultimately receive a the WWE Championship reign he had deserved for 5 years. ECW became outfitted as a third sort on the decrease back of He and became given the ECW Championship as well. He became the authentic deal, he became probable the most important asset WWE had yet they by no skill gave him that significant journey spot that he may have certainly crammed. He turned right into a astounding celeb as a midcarder, had he of been given a important journey spot then he may were the most important celeb of WWE.

I agree with you shelton benjamin is one of the most underestimated wrestler and he is a good athlete.I think they should use him more instead of having him do those ridiculous stupid storylines.

Dont think him bringing his mum to the ring helped..better now though. He is fab. A strong hero would be a much better image for him.
