I agree with most of the people who answered your question, DO NOT BUY CHEAP, be prepared to spend at least 150 for a helmet unless its a closeout on last years model and the prices go up to 4 to 5 hundred , a decent helmet was the hjc brand and you might get 1 in the color scheme of the quad, good luck, Jim

Don't buy cheap helmets, buy inexpensive ones.

This is a great time to buy helmets and gear for MX and street . The current closeout list is out and if you are interested you can get a good helmet cheap. Which is better than a cheap helmet cheap.

These are as much as 50% off.

The list includes Suomy, AGV, M2R, AFX, Z1R, Thor.

You would need to call for these. Sizes, quantities and colors are limited. I don't list these on my site.

As for the off road helmets there are a good half dozen to choose from starting with the Z1R Roost $55 shipped.

Is cheap what you really want? Safety should be number one concern. Take this from a guy with a scar from in front of one ear to in front of another. My sub-deural hematoma wasn't cheap. Look for DOT rating, possibly the dealer where the ATV's are sold in your area.

Go to ebay.com. "whatever it is, you can find it on ebay" lol well just make sure when you purchase the helmet it is DOT certified. This will tell you it will not kill your brother the day after christmas when he flips the quad over the first time.

Depending where you live i guess, try and google motoorcycle helmets.

Cheap?, as long as it has the relevant compliance stickers. He will need heaps more than just a helmet.

He will definately need an armoured jacket with armour in the back, shoulders and elbows, good boots and knee armour.

Anything less is asking for trouble and a world of hurt.

go to your local motorcycle dealership and get one from there. helmets need to be tried on and make sure they fit properly.
