There are a couple of hotels at Heathrow which offer rooms for the day only

Otherwise if you just want somewhere to store your bags and have a shower before moving on, Travel Lodges sometimes have rooms for £15 or The Hoxton Hotel has some good offers.

The concept of hotels just charging by the hour has never really taken off in the UK. They mainly charge per night. However, the major hotels will give a lower rate if you want to use the room just for the day (but you are nonetheless paying for the day).

Try the Regent Palace or the Strand Palace hotel, I'm sure they do rooms by the hour but they are for a certain type of Clientele. No hotels that i know of rent them by the hour, The make more money charging for the whole night. Try looking at some Airport Hotels, they might
