I fyou purchased a property with an easement on it, yes it is still valid. We sold an easement for a right of way to the water line on our property for access. If for instance you have an easement on waterfront property that nothing can be done within a certain amount of feet, that still carries over when you purchase it. Although, it most likely made the appraisal value lower, you may have gotten a deal because of it.

If you bought a property with an easement, the easement is NOT erased by your purchase.

Yes, but you can't do anything with that part. It has to stay as is.
