I look like a baby down there; I hate hair down below. I know hair keeps bacteria out; but if you keep clean, that's something you don't have to worry about. I do it my shaving. Its the least expensive & most painless way. First of all, it you use a disposable shaver, use a good one. Venus is good. Noxema has disposable also that are really good. Then to make sure your skin is prepared, I use conditioner. Get some type of moisturizing conditioner... I use VO5 Moisturizing Milks. I know it sounds weird, but the conditioner softens those unruly hairs and makes it easy to shave. If it is your first time, and the hairs are a bit long, I sugest cutting them down a bit with beard trimmers; those little itty bitty scissors you see in drug stores... Please don't use regular big hair scissors! Even the steadiest hand may slip & that's somewhere you don't want any accidents.

Some people choose to shave for cosmetic reasons or their partner prefers them this way. Other people shave for hygienical reasons. Its a personal choice. There's no medical evidence saying it's proper or improper. We have body hair for a reason but im sure you shave your legs dont you? I shave my as you called it good stuff and have been for years. So just a few pointers youll pay for using cheap razors. I heard warm water softens the hair so i usually shave while taking a warm bath. Let your shaving gel sit for a few mins this helps soften the hair more and helps condition the skin.Don't go over an area repeatedly this can cause irritation. For a stray hair you can't catch use tweezers. Go slowly, especially if you're using a disposable razor. If you go to quickly, you may cut yourself, miss hairs or cause razor burn.Use dry skin lotion regularly on areas you've shaved. It will help reduce irritation, itching, and soften the skin and hair follicles. It will reduce the discomfort caused by "stubble" in between shaves, as well. I hope this helps

if you have a pretty good pain tolerance i would suggest waxing. if not you could try something like nair but do a spot test first to make sure your skin can tolerate it. personally i just use a trimmer and cut the hair as close to the skin as possible. shaving will often lead to painful itchy bumps. if you really want to shave (i hurt just thinking about it) make sure you moisturize and exfolliate really well first.

Look sweetie, we have that hair for a reason. It's there to keep bacteria out. Yes I've shaved mines before and I will never do it again. A bakini wax is ok but just bare is not. Just think about it first. Go to www.webmd.com
