Welcome to the world of corporate music. Where no one cares what the music is like, only how they can sell you. If it's kinda like this, and this sells two or three millions copies, then it can sell one or two millions copies, and that's all they care about. But the minute the numbers don't look good, you're out on your butt.

Music that is easily marketted by use of a gimmick or "look" will always be thrust into the limelight by those keen to make an earn off it - stick with the alternate and underground labels, you'll still find plenty of class musos and bands. Rock on!!!
