Honda Motorcycle EIN Location?

I have a 1999 honda cbr600f4, and I am looking for the engine identification number. The manual says to look on a flat section on the back of the crankcase, but there is no number, and it is completely flat. Is there another location that this number might be? Is it stamped in more than one location on the engine?

I don't recall at the moment. It should be on the top half of the crankcase anywhere behind the cylinders. Look around
the R crankcase cover (clutch cover). Then look around the starter motor. The starter motor might be covering part of the EIN.
