Does anybody know exactly where the baby sits in your belly when u are 13 weeks pregnant? I started the first day of my 14th week today and i promise ive been feeling baby like movements that are about 3-4 inches under my navel...i dont think its gas because i know the difference. This feeling is sporadic and its always in the same place. I only feel it when im lying down and i have my hands on my stomach. It feels like a little jerk. I guess since i havent had an ultrasound sound yet where the baby is exactly so i can know when i feel it. Im pretty small framed....5'8 and 142 lbs (gained 5 lbs since pregnant)...so i figured id feel my baby sooner than later anyway

You could possibly be feeling the baby move this early on. I dont care what people say cause you will have people tell you its too early to feel movements. Im pregnant with number 3 and im almost 12 weeks pregnant and i felt the butterflies one time recently and i know what they feel like because ive felt them before! You are probably feeling the baby moving around and being smaller framed its definitly possible :) I knew when it was my baby and just gas lol its a huge difference! The baby sits just below your belly button. GOODLUCK to you :)

I would say that's your little one saying hello for the first time. I think everyone questions "is that the baby?" because it's so fragile and so new and we wait so long for that first movement. Your baby is definently moving at 13 weeks and if you are feeling somthing that isn't what you are use to and are pretty in tune with your body than go with your instincts, that's your baby! It will soon be very strong and you will be able to feel it against your hands, and then you will be able to see it with out touching! It's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I think you're feeling your baby in about the right place for 13 weeks. You should go to babycenter.com. They have charts and pictures for every week of your pregnancy. I'm 15 weeks, by the way!! Congratulations!

your uterus is nested in your pelvic area. It has grown a bit, but unless you've "popped" it's not really high in your belly yet. You may be feeling the baby moving if it's located toward the top of your uterus. 14 weeks is pretty early to feel the baby moving, however, you may just be one of the lucky ones who is extra sensitive to how your body feels. That's a pretty cool thing.

Congrats!

You might be feeling a bit of a flutter, but wait until you are around 5 months and really feel the kicking. I had an ultra sound with my first at 13 weeks because we (the doctor & I) couldn't hear the heart beat..my girl was breakdancing...and the more we laughed watching her the more she boogied!! It was amazing!!Congraulations!!

Lie down flat on your back, feel for your hip bones, draw an imaginary line straight across them.At the centre of this line is roughly where your baby is.At this stage of pregnancy your uterus is rising out of your pelvis. It could well be what you are feeling. Some people say you can't feel movement until about 20 weeks but I swear I could feel it sooner.

Its uaually around 20 weeks but every woman is different. When laying on your back it should be just abouve your pelvic bone. So right between the pelvic bone and your belly button.

Where you are describing feeling is about right, the baby should be right under your belly button. Everyone feels their baby at different times, so just trust your instinct.
