hi, when i was giving birth to my daughter it was really pain full, i kept telling the nurses that something was wrong but they just laughed and told me to push then all of a sudden everything went pitch black and i felt i was sliding down this pitch black tunnel, i don't even know why i thought it was a tunnel as i couldn't see but i just knew, i never heard the doctors and nurses shouting my name but as i was half way down this tunnel i heard my husband shout my name he sounded so scared, every time my hubby shouted me i was wretched a little further back up the tunnel towards the sound of his voice...it wasn't scary i just knew that if i finally reached the end of the tunnel i would be dead, there was no bright lights or noises but i felt so calm and at peace, when i finally came round i told my hubby what had happened and he confirmed that while i was in this tunnel me and my baby had gone in to stress and the doctors were preparing for a emergency c section, luckily i managed to push her out, the weird thing is she has different coloured eyes and my neighbour who is Irish says that she has been blessed by angels, maybe it was all the drugs i had during the birth its up to you to make your mind up but i know if i die it will be peaceful and not scary at all...good luck hope you get the answer you are looking for

I was driving down the road. it was pay day. I had to go to someones house. I stopped at the petrol station and had a strong urge to buy 3 litres of petrol enough to get you home and back at work and you can fill up tomorrow - came a thought and genuinely was not mind and in my mind I argued that I had been paid but put 3 litres in anyway. Walking through the door saw 6 litres of oil on special stacked in a pyramid and that same thought/voice said get it and in my mind i argued that I had plenty of oil in the boot but bought it and threw it in the passenger seet. A few miles down the road I got lost and went through a give away sign I rolled my car quite a few times down the road. All the glass smashed and I got coated with thick oil from the purchase I made before so I was not cut, the car could of exploded with a full tank but it had only 3 litres in the tank. I had cracked ribs and a bump on the head where the people cutting me out of the wreck thought i was dead until I started moaning - broken ribs hurt. It was not white lights or anything but close to a near death experience - what do i think now?? it was not my time and i always listen to my inner voice and when death comes it will be my time and hopefully i will accept that - hope i have helped.

Yah, a pretty close to death experience anyway. Don't remember the lights or tunnels. There was pain, and then a very warm comfortable feeling, and then I passed out. I had just passed out when my unit brothers pulled me to safety.

well not exactly at a near death experience. after 30 seconds I had gone past a building, a bomb exploded in front of it, I was around 300m from it and could feel a gush of air. 2 ppl killed and 30 were injured thats the nearest I have been.

I have experieced near death but I have nothing but blankness to report, sorry. Just basically passed out, like a fast slide into sleep, no memory of anything whilst I was out for 2 days.

near death? plenty, 3 car accidents where the car was not even recognizeable and yet walk out without a scratch. It was weird both times, time seem to slow down so i can see exactly and clearly how it happen. My little brother also save me from this car which would hit me when i was a kid too.

i've got had some close to loss of life stories. I very nearly drowned in a pool whilst i replaced into like 10 because of fact my pal and that i've got been tricky one yet another to swim uner the super pool mattress that took 0.5 the gap of the pool and it took me a protracted time to locate my way out,
