The PLAY not the Movie! Cuz i wanna sing Greased Lightning!!

Greased Lightening is not sung by the lead in the play. Kenicke (spelling?) sings the song in the stage piece (the one that ends up with Rizzo). They gave it to Danny (Travolta) in the film version.

The play and the movie are basically the same. Danny is the main male part and Sandy is the main female. Danny and Kenickie (sp?) sing most of Greased Lightening but the other T-Birds sing in it as well.

Well if you want to sing Greased Lightening in the play, you want to audition for the role of Kinicki, which is not the lead. The male lead is Danny Zucko.
