He is flirting with disaster in my opinion - with today's statutory rape laws, he is asking for trouble. The age difference is not that bad, but they should give it a couple more years before getting serious

People say age is just a number, until they're THAT situation, then things change. At least that's my personal experience. I think that as long as the girl is an adult (18), the age difference doesn't matter that much. But only as long as she's 18, if she's 16, then the guy should look somewhere else, or he can wait, if he likes her that much.

I am always weary of age gaps like that which involve a guy in his twenties dating a teenager. That doesn't seem right to me and I think a lot of them do it because teenage girls are easier to get with given that they don't have the radar and experience older women do.

There are times when age is just a number, but only under certain circumstances and this ain't one of 'em.

No, thats only five years that not even that bad my boyfriend is seven years older than me and we been going out for a year now. I dont think age matters that much people look at personality not how old you are, and I know alot of guys who are older than their gfs. I guess if it is over ten years than thats a little too much.

At that age yes. Me and my husband are ten years apart but we met when i was 21. He should rethink what he's doing.

It's called cradle-robbing, and in most states it's illegal.
