my parents..druggies!?!?

okay you guys..dont call me nosey because i already know i am..



the other day my mom asked me to clean her bathroom..so i get the comet out from underneath her sink..glancing in the very back of the cabinet..i saw a bong..i already found weed in the house and my mom and dad told me they dont smoke nemore and my mom said she hasnt done it in a couple years..


i believed it at the time but now im thinking it's bull ****.
i also found a little platter..with a razorblade and two straws cut in half...
maybe im jumping to conclusions..but
is that what i think it's used for..(sniffing purposes)
well my question is..
how can i tell if that bong has been used recently?(already has water in it)
and what purposes could those straws be used for?
because im confronting my parents about this
wether they like it or not

hey i know exactally how you feel right now
im 13 and i know my sister smokes pot and i think my parents might also.i havent found any proof about my parents but sometimes they smell like weed when they come out of their room.my sister is already trying to push it on me but im not going to let it ruin my life.im not trying to confront my parents about it im just trying to forget about it.But with your situation i think its more serious because you know they do drugs and i just think my parents do drugs. If your wondering how i know what weed smells like well lets just say ive been in my sisters room.but what i cant figure out is why my parents dont care if my sister does drugs.

oh sweetie you shouldn't have to deal with this... well okay #1 smell the bong I know it sounds stupid but drugs have a certain smell and I would start telling your parents how much they mean to you because sometimes that can snap them back. Also the straws could be used for any inhalable solid drug. But they could also be innocent too. Well now we need to deal with you because you cannot deal with this alone. You could try to go to an addiction anonymous meeting and talk and learn about the whole drug subject.I would improve relationships with all family members,Aunts,uncles you know just in case something were to happen... Okay my little spygirl get to solving the mystery

With all the crap that parents talk about kids now a day i think you should bring this out in the open way to many people die from things like this or get locked up. I believe you should be like mom dad go in the living room and sit down and go get that stuff and come back in the room and show them and tell them you want some answers and if they get mad at you say so what i dont want no druggies as parents. I think you should talk to them about it.

You want a bad example I have a younger cousin(1 year younger)im 13.Who lives in the city,his parents(my aunt and uncle)always,smoke,and drink,I hate spending the night always smoke,for gods sake I keep thinking im gonna wake up in there and have a collapsed lung.Parents or relatives who smoke are the worlds worst parents even if their kids dont know it.Smoke inhalation in the teen years can lead to cancer,heart disease,and many respiratory problems.

Tell your relatives to do something about it,cause your parents probably wont stop.and if things get real out of hand and you feel like theres no way out call CPS(child protective services).

Oh no. It sounds like you've found enough evidence to prove that yes, they're using drugs. Straws like that can be used for cocaine (at least in the movies) but I've never known anyone to actually use straw to do coke. Hm.

Yeah, I think you should at least ask why yr finding such things in the house.

OK, well no one keeps a full bong for years without using it,

and the razorblade with the straws..thats is DEFINATELY for coke, theres no doubt about it.

so yes, in both cases i would say you are right on the money

the straws could be used for any snortable drug - coke, meth, painkillers, etc. If the bong has water in it then it has probably been used recently. Just tell your parents you found the bong and straws and see what they say.

You parents are druggies as you suspect. Cut them no slack on the subject or you yourself may fall victim to their lacks and amoral choices. Try and stay focused, you do not have to follow in their errant foot steps. If you totally lose respect for them then so what. It is their responsibility to keep you from harm and show you the way and not vice versa. Good luck.

Of course the razorblade and straws are for cocaine, most likely,

since pot isn't like wine and it doesn't improve with age, I doubt that they've kept it around if they actually aren't smoking it.

You've got the right idea: you should confront them about it. Tell them what you found. If they get mad, don't feel badly because it's better that you found it than they keep doing it. Tell them how it makes you feel and why they shouldn't do it. If things don't change, you might want to talk to another adult you trust about it. You also might wanna do that if they deny it.
