$200,000 a year. How much will she be awarded per month for child support? We know the best way to find out is to take him to court. But he talks soooo much crap and tells her he makes it seem like he brings in $18,200.00 a year and she wont get more than $50.00 bucks a month.

Wow. I'm half afraid to answer this after all the bitter men that want their children to live in poverty. So sad.

The formula for calculating varies on which state you live in. In Ohio, if he pays no insurance or other expenses, he will have to pay about $1000 a month.

There is a website www.alllaw.com that has child support calculators for various states. She needs to calculate it out and make sure her attorney doesn't ask for less.

Most calculators take into account what level of lifestyle the child had with the 2 incomes then try to make up the difference for the custodial parent. Since women typically make less in this so called equal world, the men normally have to pay. Some graciously, some bitter, as seen above. Obviously, her husband is being a jerk.

It depends on things like how many children there are, where they live, if there are overnight visits, if either parent has other children from other relationships, if there is alimony, etc., but if he makes 4 times as much as him, she should be able to receive more than $50 a month, probably closer to a few hundred, depending upon the state and how long they have been married, etc.

Get social services involved in the childs mother support claim. They will take him for every penny they can. They are all for the mother, at least where Im from. My husband has been reamed by social services for 18 years, to the point of being completely unfair and unethical.

If he is not honest, then you will have to take him to court and probably will have to hire a forensic accountant.
