I am a 30 year old female and I have had many failed relationships. I think I need a guy who can put me in my place and lead the relationship. My cousin is engaged and they are in a DD relationship and it sounds wonderful she raves about it. How can I get involved in one of my own?

I do not see how being in a relationship where your every move is monitored and criticized you will never be good enough, you will spend your life trying to please some one else, thinking for your self, self esteem will be dependent on some one else, there is no up side to this that I can see, be very careful what you wish for as you may get more than you bargained for

That is called being CONTROLLED! Are you not a person with your own ideas and personality. Don't you want to be treated with respect like your a valued person?
My 40+ year old daughter recently married to a man who tells her everything she should do even when it comes to her own children. He as well as any of his ideas comes first. All I ever hear is Charles this and Charles that. I am so sick of Charles and I told her that I feel she is lost. Our relationship is gone, she used to call me all the time. Now weeks go by and the Holidays used to be fun. I am invited over however, Charles don't like this and that to the point that I am unconfortable. We used to get together every Christmas Eve and exchange presents. Charles likes to be at home with the family alone on Christmas Eve, so we get together on Christmas Day. I only go for the kids and I can't wait to leave. I hate being at their house and I can't have Christmas or any other day/holiday at my house because Charles doesn't like my house.
I don't think you really know what you are asking for.
