Here's what happened:
I was at school today and i've recently been hanging out with some new friends who have been hanging otu together for a few years now. Whenever i hung out with them i feel like im just kinda tagging along and that i am getting on their nerves, and i don't know how i'd be doing that. I worte a note to the new friend i felt closer to and it said that i think i should go back to eating with my new friends because i feel like im annoying you.... ect. I thought she would understand that i didn't feel like i belonged with her and the other friend (even thouhg i didn't really fit in with my old friends either) But i tried ti instant message her and she was all "what do you want" so i just kinda told her i was sorry and logged off. I definatley think she's mad at me. now i regret sending her the note cuz i dont want her mad, i just wanted her to know how i feel. Should i have done it?

Well maybe she is just crabby today why would she be angry unless she figures you're trying to dump her. Oh yeah and no you shouldn't have done it. Why are you so worried about what "they" think? If you were annoying them don't you think they would have sluffed you off by now.? Don't be so self conscious I am sure your a fine friend and not annoying at all. Why don't you feel comfortable around them there must be a reason why deeper then I'm annoying. Look inside your self and find out. And also if you think your a annoyance then just fix it you don't have to dump off your friends and Isolate yourself. Just realize your as good as the best of them and be yourself.

I htink I would have talked to her instead of sending a letter if she is that close of a friend anyway she wouldnt be behaving in that way or saying things like that..But on the other hand I also would have not siad in the letter that I was going to be sitting with my other friends or wharever again I would have just told her and stuck with you feeling left out and that you feel you're just tagging along

yes bcus you had the right to know. She's not seriously mad, she'll get over it. give her time and then try to explain you just felt kinda out of place and didn't want to be bothering them.

You have to hang out with your self first and be comfortable.

It sounds like you are just trying to please people. If they aren't interested in being friends, forget them. quality over quantity...
