Can I do something about this?

My family in law are coming up with false accusations of child abuse to get back at me can I take this to court for them to be penalized?

If you can prove that the accusations were false and made in revenge rather than the child's interests. My suggestion is to simply avoid them and move away as soon as economically feasible.

filing a false report is against the law. you would have to prove
that they did it just to be mean
