My 1991S10 starts but the check engine light is on and its very hard to keep running until it warms up Whats w

I|t seems like it is choking out it used to come and go ,but now its always

Sounds like the choke or the pre-heat is out of adjustment or failed. You didn't say if you had a gas or diesel but those are common problems and easy to check solutions.

check the oxygen sensor,the idle air control and the throttle position sensor.its probably 1 of those.
