There is internal memory, and you can use 3rd party memory cards. Some games like MonkeyBall and Rayman have some multiplayer games that don't need the nunchuck, but you will probably want to pick up a nunchuck too. If you don't have a TV with A/V plugs (and unless it's several years old, this is probably not a problem), you will need an RF modulator. Also, if you don't have wireless internet access and you want to use the online capabilities, you will need to get a Nintendo Wi-fi USB adapter for your computer. You will need an internet connection if you want to download the classic games. If you already have a GameCube you can use the Game Cube controllers instead of the classic controller for the classic games. The classic games can be bought by using the points card or by just using a credit card.

The Wii has built in flash memory, so it's unlikely you will need to buy anything else for the system at launch, other than a game or two. It comes with one remote control, and a nunchuck attachment (along with the Wii Sports game).

If you want to play two player games, I'd look for a second controller and nunchuck attachment. If you want to play classic games online, you will need a classic controller ($20). The games are not free, but can be downloaded to your Wii for $5-10 a piece.
