i totally agree with you. the miami dolphins finshed last season strong, and plus during free agency and the draft they really put more talent on their team. i started to try to figure this question out myself, all i could come up with is either their defense is getting older and a bit slower (but Jason Taylor is doing really good), or no real offensive playmaker, or Nick Saben can't get his team ready enough for when the season starts, so they start off losing games, but as the season goes on then they start to become a team that can win games.

1. Their receivers drop way too many passes
2. Their QB isn't very good and Culpepper was a bust
3. Their O Line isn't good so Harrington doesnt have time to throw
4. Their run game hasn't been strong enough.
Their Defense is fine but since their offense is so inconsistant, the defense can't always do it all.

they are not that bad people kept sayin the phins would do good just cause of daunte and yet this guy hasnt played a game since his injury. we have some problems in our o-line but its improved. this team also rides high in confidence and did not have ever since the first game.

u need everybody to have a good team... they have no running game and their offensive line is awful... they allowed like 60 sacks this season already... the defense is pretty good but like i said football is a team sport... everybody has to work together to win.

They have a weak offensive line. This is the base of a solid team.

I think it's psychological. I think the white, orange and teal colors are bad luck for them. They're not really the colors you associate with 'tough'. And that Miami weather I think is softening them up.

They have no solid offensive factor and their defense can't support the whole team.
