Generally speaking, yes. You have to do a number of things first, however. The first thing is to send the owner a letter requesting removal. Keep a copy and send the original certified mail. I believe 30 days is sufficient. For your own protection you should research the laws regarding abandoned property in the area that you live in. Perhaps the owner of one of those monthly storage rental places could steer you in the right direction? Good luck!

After five years you have been more than patient... I would create a salvage title for it and sell the eyesore.

You may be able to get it declared abandoned. I'd imagine you will have to tell the owner to pick it up now or it will be considered abandoned and your property. Check with City Hall.

If it were mine, and I asked him to take it home. And he refused. I would give him 60 days and it would have a new owner!
