Previous gaming consoles supported only 480i u use normal composite (3 ends) cables..
this nintendo wii supports 480P (EDTV or normal HDTV) which is definetly an improvment over 480i but u will need a component cable to see the greatness of it (it has 5 ends the component cable)
as for ps3 and xbox 360 they support 1080p which is definetly better graphics but u will need an HD premierm component cable ...
so basically if ur getting the wii (which i seriously recommend) and u have an EDTV or HDTV get the component cable and u will notice a great diffrence ..u can also get the HD premium cable for it but it wont be much better than the component cable since the wii only outputs 480P... and yes it looks better on HDTV and yes its great.

With a regular TV, some of the Wii's games like SSBB, Madden NFL 2007, Need for Speed Most Wanted: Carbon, and LOZ:TP look great. If you attach surround sound, even better.
But adding a HDTV into the triangle, that changes everything. I myself have an HDTV an wow, is it amazing...

Yea Wii is 4 losers (no disrespect) and because u have HDTV u choose 2 take income of it and play extra Xbox 360 or PS3 on it then you truly'll see how captivating that 720p or 1080i is..

Everything looks better in HD.
Madden '07 on the Wii looks better than the last Madden to come out for the original Xbox.

Most likely yes it will look better to some extent. But the wii`s graphics are no better then a gamecube just gameplay has change significantly.

the wii is poor, more like the wee
its graphics are poor unlike ps3
