I don't know what is wrong with it. It shakes and I can't hear any distinct sound that can clue me in. Any guesses what might be the problem?

Check your timing first, if it's out then you will have improper idling and the engine will run poorly, look for cracked spark plug wires, or even broken plugs. Motor mounts would be my next guess, if they are worn out they could be the problem. Have someone sit in the car and rev while you observe what's happening at the various point in the engine compartment. When all else has failed take it to a garage and ask them to help out. Check with them first to see how much they charge. Good Luck

OK does it shake while driving or just when it's idle or coming to stop

if it's idle have your PC valve looked at maybe your not getting enough mixture of oxygen and gas

ok second if it shakes when it drive is it when you change gears if so it's your transmission

OK so check your fluids it could be something as simple as a bad fuel mix so get some stp fuel cleaner and dump it in your gas tank and if thats all it is it should clear it right up but the best thing you can do is run a diagnostics test on it and they should be able to pick that right up

to see what it is my guess is the air fule mix is off i dont think it's oil or anything but ok good luck

hit me up if you need anything else

Have a mechanic to check your motor or engine mounts. My engine did the same in my car and it turns out that my motor mounts were worn down.

Need a tune up? Maybe a broken motor mount.

take a good look at all of your vacume hoses, make sure they are not split, cracked, and they are on snuggly.
check engine timing, sceck spark plugs and plug wires, check fuel pump ans it's pressure
OR!...take it to your mechanic

it could be a bracket is loose. there are sooo many things it could be but you should definitely go get it looked at. if you haven't changed the oil it could be about to blow up.
