Of course. Rainbow was the mutt's nuts. When I was a kid I 'met' Geoffrey and Zippy at this fete. About a year ago, I was outside a shop in Maida Vale, north west London and Geoffrey walked out clutching a bag of groceries. My ( drunk, 31 year old) mate started singing the theme tune, to which the erstwhile Rainbow host-turned-minicab driver laughed uproariously.
I used to love Zippy, his constant p*ss-taking out of Bungle the Bear and George the gay pink hippopotamus has to be seen to be believed. And what about Rod, Jane and Freddy?
Incidentally, Nick Jr (Sky channel 618) show an episode at 8pm every evening.

yeah, I remember it, and I've ven seen that episode which didn't get aired, coincidentally, I've put a question up on here which says that in a fight between Goerge, Bungle and Zippy, the characters from Rainbow who would win?

I loved it - although for some reason I always found Zippy quite disturbing.

Brilliance! Only had black and white telly then so it was years until i found out what colour zippy and george were. I found the man size teddy Bungle a bit creepy though.

I do. It was a great program! I had it several years ago and I got it from the balkans. But, with time I grew up and moved on to things like cars, guns, and technology. Amazing how time can affect on people.

I remember it, wow that takes me back, I prefered Sooty and Sweep though if I remember rightly. Looking back it all seems a bit, well.... weird. Oh well.
