A pixel is the smallest possible rectangular area of a computer display. It can have only one colour at one time; the whole pixel must be a single colour. In order to display a picture, a matrix of pixels must be used, arranged in rows and columns, with each pixel coloured accordingly to recreate the picture being displayed. This matrix is stored in memory, and depending on how many colours your display is capable of showing, each pixel will usually take between 1 and 3 bytes of memory.
Not too long ago, computer screens were not very sophisticated and had only a few thousand pixels. On those displays, it was easy to see the individual pixel shapes. Now, computer displays have hundreds of thousands (sometimes millions) of pixels, and the software has improved so that the pixel colours are more smoothly transitioned on the edges of objects, but you can still see the individual pixels sometimes.
A Kilobyte is 1024 bytes. A byte is 8 bits. A bit is the smallest possible element of computer storage, capable of storing either a 0 or a 1. Obviously, a bit is not very useful. It can store something like a true/false value, but to store numbers, pictures, sound, etc, many bits must be used. When you create a text document in Notepad, each character you type takes 1 byte of storage, and every time you press Enter, a 2 byte control code is inserted. A kilobyte is enough to store perhaps 200 words of plain text.

You're trying to compare the size of a file with the screen space of an image. The two don't literally equate, since it is sort of like comparing total size with something as simple as width.
That being said, a kilobyte can hold lots of pixels, but that's not all it can hold. Image files are comprised of pixels and can be a few bytes up to several megabytes.

a Kb aka a kilobyte is 1024 bytes which 1 byte is 8 bits... and a pixel is a measurement in a digital photo for example... open up paint on your pc, and click the pencil tool then go to the white canvas and click one time, you should a tiny tiny little dot. That my friend is a pixel. and to see alot of pixels open a picture in paint then zoom in till you see little squares. that also is a pixel.

You cant compair the two. pixel is a unit of measurement for graphics and images on your computer. a Killobyte is a measurement of disk space and how much space a file takes up.

Greetings!
