the solar system is not the same as the Milky Way galaxy. The solar system is just our one system that revolves around our sun, one of millions within the Milky Way. I don't know what other names of the solar system you could be referring to other than maybe some formal latin names or something

It is the Solar System as in the planetary system around Sol. Just as the Betlegeusian System is the planetary system around Betlegeuse.
You could always call it Colin, if you want to be a real dork.

I am unsure as to what you are asking... If you are just asking for suggestions for names to name our solar system, I say we call it, "Bob."
However if you are just looking for other names it may be called, typically a system is called by the name of it's primary star. In our case, it is the Sol system.

Our solar system is what scientists refer to as "The Sol system." becauce scientists still think that we, the human race is the center of the universe. Not to mention that Sol is the scientific name for the sun
