I had a class with this guy, and we ran into each other at a couple shows. I never thought much about him, but then he started talking to me regularly. I really started to like him. We flirted a bit, but mostly just talked. The last time we spoke was on the bus a week ago, and I saw him at a show that night and we said "hi". Everything was normal. Then on Friday he walked right past me. And Monday, he walked beside me across the commons without any acknowledgement that I was there. A foot away from him. Today, the last day I'll see him at least until the final, he ignored me again. He walked past me, an inch to my left, and he showed no hint of recognition. It was like I wasn't even there.

Has anyone ever experienced this from an aquaintance? I mean, we just spoke a week ago, and it was fine. Just a couple days later he acts like I don't exist? Does anyone have any idea why he just decided that I'm not worth a hello?
I'm actually pretty hurt by this. It was so sudden.
Thanks!

I guess I'm worked up because I have a thing for him. How pathetic of me, I know. Next thing you know, I'll be human.

Maybe you did something without realizing it and it hurt him? Maybe he got tired of you. Maybe he got himself a girlfriend. Maybe, maybe, maybe. If you really wana knoe, write him a note, or ask him directly. But it's kind of hard to ask him directly, I guess. Well, I guess you should get over it. I haven't exactly experienced it, but have done this. I ignored a guy that has been a friend for a number of reasons: I found out that he liked me, and just couldn't accept his feelings. I felt awkward around him, and just decided to avoid him. He had also been insulting me... maybe he meant it as a joke or something, but it really hurt me, and I talked to him about it... however, he told me that it was just "wondering and thinking aloud" and that really got on my nerves, so I just ignored him. Guys can be such jerks at times. Well, go find ureself another guy :)

He has something on his mind that it bothering him. Why are you taking it personally, like you had something to do with it? Why so worked up over the behavior of someone who is just an aquaintance anyway?
