to physically have them... after 40's because its dangerous for you and the baby. adopting is a wonderful option too though.
If you are over 40 and want to have kids, talk to your doctor and make sure that you are healthy enough and strong enough to have it. Plus keep a close eye on the little one.

It's never too late as long as you are responsible and get an okay from your doctor letting you know your body is in good enough health. After 40 it gets alot tougher and you have higher risks of complications though so there are many factors that come into play. But my sister is 35 and trying for her 2nd child. Her first son was born when she was 33 and my nephew is perfectly healthy and there were no complications. Hope that helped! Good Luck!

Anytime over 40 has the highest risks for the mother and babies health, recent studies have also shown once over the age of 34 their has been an increase in health issues with the baby and mother, their small risks at any age, but increase with age.
And you shouldn't drink alcohol at all during pregnancy even do some docs say its fine to have a small glass, but it causes fetal alcohol syndrome (i think)

i say 40, its not really fair on a child to be born to a mother over 40 because the mother is growing older and getting slower as the years go on, a child may end up loosing their mother before they are very old as many things are more likely to happen when they are at a later age. also mothers over 40 have a much greater risk of having a child who has something wrong with him/her. motthers at this age need to think about their unborn children before their need to have a baby.

it depends upon your own body. obviously, once you have hit menopause, it is too late to have children. starting at age 40, pregnancy becomes high risk just due to age. i suggest talking to your doctor about your body & what he/she thinks.
