if you could design a dress for a celebrity, who would you choose?

if you could design a dress for a celebrity to wear at an awards ceremony or a film premiere who would you choose & what would the dress be like?

someone with a fuller figure. too much emphasis these days on the skinny women... so maybe I'd choose Dawn French... her figure is pretty... full... It'd be something elegant, black, classic, velvet, showing cleavage, long (to the ankles) maybe with a thin satin strip down the side, like in tuxedo trousers....... jeeez i don;t know why i'm answering this, i know nothing about fashion. NOTHING.

I would dress Britney Spears, she is in serious need of some help and evidently some decent underwear. I would get her a good fitting bra from Argent Provacteur that do do bras especially for women after pregnancy. I would take out those dreadful hair extensions, give it a good comb and have it shoulder length, she is not suited to having a bob/pob I feel. As for the make up I would focus on the eyes and not the lips, the smudged Courtney Love effect makes her look trashy. As I would like to see her looking attractive on a day to day basis I would put her in some tight fitting jeans with black boots over them, a grey hoodie with a black leather jacket on top. Her nails would not be bitten down to her cuticles as usual either.

If it had to be for an awards show the biba dresses are very in fashion but I would add a short jacket to go with it, silver seems to suit her well, the jacket could be black though that complements better with gold. The jacket would draw attention away from her legs which are not her best feature. But to improve the way they look stiletto heels and not platforms should be worn to give the appearance of more shapely calfs.

I would chose Janet Jackson, she and dress would take place at the Grammy Awards. I know her favorite color is Black so the dress would be black and sleek. She's My Idol and I hope to meet her one day.

Or, instead of a dress, I could design like this grey or black pants suit and she could wear like a red or black tie. And I'm also going to be a Accessories Designer so I would also design like a shimmer sparkle kind of grey pocket book for her too.

Oh I always draw little dresses during class and I always picture which celebrities would look great in them! Yesterday, I drew an adorable corseted royal blue minidress with lace paneling that I thought would look great on Scarlett Johansson. I would love to design for her because I love her shape. I also drew a hot pink halter dress for Paris Hilton...I would love to dress Paris because she can pull anything off.

I would design one for Ashley Judd or Reese Witherspoon. They are natural beauties, so it would be easy to design for them. Either way, it would be a long halter dress, fitted to the bottom of the bust, with a simple flowing skirt. The straps to the halter would have a cross-over pattern in the front under the bust, and would be satin material.

I would design a short baby-doll, satin, red dress(with a black satin sash to break the flow) for actress: Eva Longoria.
Shes really trendy and has some cuteness around her look. So a babydoll dress is most appropriate.

I would design an Ellis Morgan dress, I am very good at designing, I designed a ballroom dress for my cousin and she had it made to my design, she looked stunning in it. They do say that men are better at dress designing than women.. lol.

If I could design a dress for a celeb, it would be Nicole Kidman, possibly in a deep blue, strapless dress. Lacing up in the back, with a slight train in the back. Hmm, just thinking about it makes me want to go design it now. Thanks for this inspiration!

I'd choose one for Gwen Stefani that was black with golden stripes. The combination of her light face and hair against a dark outfit would be a great combination. It would have to be a full length dress of course.
