It was around 1/00, and I was in the first grade. I was 7 years old. My dad gave my brother and me Ant Z toys and said they were from santa. From then on... for a little while... I believed.
Three years later, I was ten years old. I was in my parents' closet when I spotted one of the Chrstimas gifts they bought me. On Christmas morning, I saw that same Christmas gift under the tree, saying "To: (my brother and me) From:santa".
I didn't want to believe Santa was not real, so I went online that afternoon, went straight to Google, and typed in, "Write to Santa Claus". I wrote a letter to "Santa Claus", saying basically, in a nutshell, "You forgot me today, but it's okay. Please come tonight, My name is __________; I am ten years old and in the fourth grade. My address is ________________________. My phone number is __-____. I live in the United States. I want a teddy bear, a book, and a movie. Thank you."
A few days later, "Santa" called and said he would get me a teddy bear.
As I got older, I slowly started to get into my senses, and I stopped believing.
That's my personal tale of a 10 year old who believed in Santa...

I think Santa is real in our hearts and in our minds.
I have two children and bringing joy to them on Christmas morning with the excitment of Santa coming, just reminds me of the wonderful years I spent at home with my family.

I believe that Saint Nicholas WAS a real priest in Germany - he began leaving toys that he carved himself for the poor children of his parrish. He is a very interesting and important step in the process of how we came to know the Santa today. In fact, today is St. Nicholas day! Last night, all the small children in Europe left their shoes outside the door of their home. If they were good, they got goodies this morning.....if they were bad, they were left a bundle of switches!
Merry Christmas!

I do. I don't see how I can believe in God and not Santa. I think that would be hypocritical.
