In England we call football footie so if anyone has got a problem wiv that, u might aswell get lost. Everbody's got thier slang so do we.
Back to the point. I love footie (man u) but the way men go on about it non stop for hours that really does my head in. I mean havent thet got anythn else to do? Its ok if they watch and talk but its always the topic of the day. Lol

Yes. Especially when they criticise men for watching the World Cup once every FOUR YEARS, but forget that Wimbledon is on EVERY YEAR. I mean, for 2 weeks every summer I dont get me tea till gone 7 at night sometimes, and you should see the state of the bathroom.

Yes, I don't mind my boyfriend talking about it, what's the harm? No need for women to criticise is there?! I have many conversations that men would probably find meaningless about make up and clothes etc. I wouldn't want to be criticised for it!

No, i'm a man and I hate footy too. Footy is really boring, i'd rather watch burglar paint dry.

Ehem...I am a woman and I understand the offside rule.

But...saying that...would men be interested in a discussion about needlepoint?

Not all women criticise, but I can imagine it would drive most women nuts if all they ever heard about was football.
