Never forget about this awesome tradition!!!!! I just sent out 60 cards, actually a small year for me, but I am not done. I LOVE getting cards, from anyone, neighbors, family, and especially those far away I don't see anymore! Please, keep up the tradition. Its such a happy thing to get mail like that.

Many people don't send cards because it actually takes time and effort. It's easier to make a call or send an email, but sitting down and writing something in a card to personalize it for each one makes the recipient feel like you really do care.

With e-mail and cell phones, people can more easily stay in touch. However, I love sending Christmas cards, and hope that I receive as many as I send. It's a wonderful tradition.

Yes I do them too and I am surprised at the amount of people that are too lazy or not into the Christmas spirit. Sometimes people just send e-cards but I prefer the good old Christmas card.

If you enjoy sending them continue. I have never been a fan of sending Christmas cards but I must admit I like getting them.

Oh please do. You are doing the right thing. Most people probably don't send christmas cards because it is time consumming and cards do cost money. I was brought up to send cards, and I keep all my cards. I have boxes and boxes of recieved cards. I am glad I kept the ones from my mother now that she is gone, and I can look back at them.

Thought I myself don't send nor receive X-Mas cards because I'm not Christian, I think it's a nice tradition for you to keep. So, continue to do so to keep it alive although people might not send you any. A handwritten card should be more precious than a convenient e-card. I'm sure the recipients will appreciate your thought and effort (and you'll keep the USPS in the black).

Have you seen the price of a stamp ?!?!?!?! And what for? A generic card that says Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas? Call them, it's cheaper than the stamp, saves a tree, and doesn't pollute by filling up the land fills after christmas.

it may be that human beings do no longer choose to pay the ever increasing fee of postage to deliver out all those playing cards whilst they could deliver them for loose on the computing device. i comprehend it quite is the reason i ended sending "genuine" playing cards. I no longer often ever purchase stamps or mail something the old-shaped way anymore.
