inevitable is a reference to an inescapable truth or event.
it is a word that lends weight to destiny and fate, which leads to the belief that we walk a predestined path that we have no way of escaping.

death is inevitable. every being alive knows that someday, somehow they are going to die. fate suggests that there are actually a series of events like death. an inescapable path, certain points that we can't help but hit, no matter how hard we try not to.

when we understand this word, it is inevitable that we start to see that we cannot outrun fate.

Evidently it is inevitable like death and taxes , but taxes can be avoided and if you believe in the rapture so can death.

Maybe what makes the inevitable inevitable is because it has already happened.

Maybe it was destiny, like your life was written up before you were born and you are just a character playing out the part that is your life.

There are certain things that once set in motion can not be stopped.
For example a chemical reaction , once a certain set of chemicals ( like vinegar and baking soda ) are mixed a reaction will take place until the reaction has run its course or the chemicals are separated. If the Chemicals can not be separated then , to the best of my knowledge, the reaction will continue until completion.

Then there are other things like Armageddon.
Is that inevitable?

Vote for me as best answer and then I can say it was inevitable that you would do so because you did so.

You have already decided on the acceptable / desired outcome ahead of time. It becomes self-validating to obtain that result.
