Probably not. You see what happend in South Africa and Rhodesia(Zimbabwe) once the blacks took power from a white minority. The countries have gone to hell in a handbasket.

The white majority feels sorry for us? Really?
If blacks were the majority...ooo, let me just savor that thought. oooooooooooooooooooooooo! I see good things in our future just thinking that. No, seriously, I don't care who's in the majority as long as EVERYONE is getting a good, affordable education and affordable food and shelter. This is everyone's problem, not just blacks. The middle class in every race is shrinking and that's a problem for America as a whole.
By the way, home ownership by blacks is up as well as wealth among blacks so blacks just might become a rich minority in the future.
I would think that a Black president who tells anyone to grow up would at least understand the black experience and make wise initiatives to overcome poverty, lack of healthcare, crime and education. It wouldn't be some regular (read: very rich, middle-aged, very staunch white man) guy just spouting crap, it would be someone who has a comprehensive plan because they, too, have been there.

You could call whites a minority all day long and it still wouldn't change history. It still wouldn't change peoples bigoted views. Still wouldn't change the standards of society.
I think its amazing that people think minorities have so many extra rights when we don't. We get exactly the same things you do. We have no extra rights. I work almost 7 days a week, every week. Everything I have, I got for myself. I don't ask whites for anything. White people do not feel sorry for blacks. Most whites are too busy trying to act like they are some sort of victim nowadays. People just need to learn to accept each others differences.

I live in a majority non-white city and I'm still considered an evil whitey by some anyway, so don't get your hopes up. I think it's better when people stop thinking in terms of race and start thinking in terms of "people." I also read an news article on a book about "white guilt" by a black author. I haven't read the book yet, but her argument is that white guilt is bad for black people in the long run because they(blacks) are made to feel like they are otherwise incapable of achieving anything without help.

Only the Left would be getting all excited about a white minority in a country, explains the interracial relationships, eh? Have you noticed? You're second sentence is so right!
But seriously, white people built up America to what it is today (yes black people played a big part but white people probably did the most) so why should they be the minority.
