Yesterday I noticed my left hand felt like it was 'asleep" I dismissed it then I noticed through out the day the same feeling remained. I still have it today. I've heard it could be sign of a stroke but what else can it possibly be? I am a 26 year old with no existing health problems.
Any info would be appreciated.

It may be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, more info here: http://www.carpaltunnel.com/ or Cubital Tunnel Syndrome.

If the tingling is in the thumb, index and middle finger, it may be Carpal Tunnel. (affects the median nerve in the wrist).

If the tingling is in the pinky, and one next to it, then it may be Cubital Tunnel (affects the ulnar nerve in the elbow).

If you work at a job that causes you to use repetitive motion these syndromes can result. Too much computer keyboarding, especially with the elbows leaning and/or wrists in an awkward position for long periods, is one example. Some people experience carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome though, for other reasons.

As mentioned above, best to see a doctor for proper diagnosis.

It can actually be a number of things- heart attack, stroke....or....the muscles in your neck and shoulders might be tense. Honestly! Try doing some head movements to loosen up and stretch those neck muscles and see if that helps.
