My favorite Christmas song is "The 12 Days of Christmas" and its parody "The 12 Pains of Christmas." I love Christmas!

I love Christmas music and listen to it a bit all year because I am a musician and have to stay "prepared".
I especially like jazz arrangements like Ramsey Lewis "Dashing Through the Snow" and the Eric Darken "A Drummer Boy's Christmas" CD. I like just about everything by Mannhiem Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
"Sleigh Ride" is probably the most complex and interesting Christmas song ever written and has so many great versions-- especially Eric Darken's. "Merry Christmas Baby" is probably the simplest, but Elvis and Charles Brown sure did a lot with their arrangements!
But my favorite through all these years is another "simple" blues tune, "Please Come Home for Christmas". It brings back so many memories of Christmas's past.
