It's the glass half empty versus glass half full trick.
If, when a tree falls and knocks your house down, you can turn round and say "I'm so lucky I was driving my car in another town. Both the car and I are OK" - if you are one of these people, the chances are you are lucky.

I think I am-- I won a hometown survivor competition which included getting to lease a ford explorer for a year free, several things off the radio and the latest included a trip to South Beach Florida which I will be taking in January -- woohoo

its not material things that make me lucky but to have health and for my girls to be healthy,,to have all the grandkids healthy,,and have a boat load of good friends,,,,,,
