I don't know much about star trek except what my boyfriend has told me. So like, the people in star wars are aliens from the past. The folks in star trek are mostly earth people from the future.

Star Trek is science-fiction while Star Wars technically is Science Fantasy, because it would have you believe that another galaxy exist somewhere else, were as star trek would have you believe those things will take place in our galaxy.

As far as which is better? Well, being a star wars fan I think its a no brain-er...
Star Wars hands down.....better technology, better ships, weapons, characters, etc....

Pound for pound Vader would smash Khan any day...LOL

Matching the wits of Solo and Kirk would be interesting... It would probably come down to the side kicks...
I'd have to give that win to the wookie, although Spock would give him a run for his money...

As for the no names and secondary heros, I'd take those guys and the spirited rebel troops over the crew of the enterprise and the star trek federation...

LOL

And of course a borg is no match for a Jedi Master...

Star wars is about another galaxy and another place entirely, while there are actual earthlings on star trek. I prefer the wars.

that star wars has aliens in it and fighting in it and they get out of the ships and on star trek they stay in the ships on most of the show and on star wars it shows and tells you more than star trek does.

One took place long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away. The other took place 200 years in the future, in the nearby vicinity in space. Other than that, there are NO differences!

I would be careful with questions like this since trekies and starwars fans don't usaully get along, just watch the movies or read the books and you will know. I like both though

I'd rather Gene Roddenberry was alive and George Lucas dead than the way it is.
