My friend had a similar experience. She needed to raise $500 to go to Australia. She contacted a company about a self-driven fundraiser. If I remember, she did it through Current. She also offered to mail Christmas Cards with certain pricing set on certain aspects of it.

you can always go cry to Grannie and she will give you part of it and then daddy will finish it up for you. That is the way it works around here
