Involved in the pawnbrokers trade, Staff have been taking in Contract Phones as PAYG, When infact contract,to check wether or not they are,I need to know the "the credit left no,s IE; Virgin is
789, T.Mobile, 150, Need to know the others, orange, voda,02 etc,
WHATS yours? Please help; Julie.x.
Can anyone else suggest other way perhaps? bottom line is need to be able
to tell contract from PAYG, costing me loads with many to come
after xmas;

Get the number of the phone and tell the seller you have to check with the phone provider to see if it is stolen/contract etc. See what happens then!

I didn't really understand your question but I used to be on O2. Dial *#10# and it will come up with a message on the screen with your credit, (as opposed to Virgin giving it to you over the phone in a pre recorded message for example)

To check the balance on an orange payas you go phone dial 453 and you should hear the balance.

Why don't you just put payg sims in them any way lots of people i know get them free online

Are you taking the phones or sim cards??

You can get cheap new phones from here. They are part of the carphonewarehouse group and very cheap.
