A little while ago, Sadaam and his pending execution were all over the media, and in the papers. Now, I haven't really heard a peep in the media about what's going on with him. So, is that it? Is he appealing, or what?

You were hearing all about it due to the elections being that Tuesday. . . The White House wanted to make sure everyone knew that good had been gotten out of this war that everyone is so against.

Last that I heard, they were in their deliberations, and that a verdict hadn't been handed down as of yet. But if it is anything like the wonderful (dripping with sarcasm) justice system we have in this nation, Sadam will live a long, happy life in prison appealing the hell out of his conviction until he dies of old age, or some over zealous inmate decides to put everyone out of their misery and kill him.

The trial about his mass genocide is going on right now!!! Yesterday he wrote a letter to the judging saying he will not appear in the court again because he disagrees with the charges!!!

I never once found him appealing. Maybe when he is dangling at the end of that rope that is waiting for him he will be!
