I think the question implies:
mystical - mind over matter type stuff,
reprogramming the subconcious through self-hypnosis,
positive thinking, or
education
Anyone of these or all of the above. I'll talk about each of these in reverse order.
Education - We do not learn about money at school. Not really, I mean we can take accounting, economics, learn all kinds of sophisticated ideas about the social impact and power that money has in our lives. But we still haven't learned how to make money work for us. The simple idea of maximizing our assets and minimizing our liabilities is something that most of us do not know how to effectively put into practice.
Positive thinking, to me relates to our IDEAS about money. Specifically wealth and affluence. Thinking positively and using affirmations like, "I am worthy of wealth and comfort." "I am working towards my goals." and so on, can be effective in many ways. However, just thinking positively has it's limitations. If you are in the midst of real financial struggle that you have strong negative feelings associated with, using affirmations would seem like a joke. It is very difficult to summon positive ideas when you are already in the mires of negativity. Positive thinking can be best used as a mechanism for reconditioning the mind.
Mental reprogramming/self-hypnosis - Whether we know it or not, most of us have a certain range comfort with regards to wealth and affluence. If we have too little, we go "I can't stand it." and hustle to work hard and bring ourselves back into the comfort zone. If we have too much we sabotage ourselves and lose wealth until we return to our zone. Self-hypnosis is a useful tool in reprogramming our subconscious to readjust our idea about what level of wealth and affluence is comfortable for us. We can visualize all the pleasure that we will experience inside and out by having an increased ability to live comfortably. We can also visualize ourselves in the act of generating that wealth and using that power to create a lasting effect in the world. By relaxing our mind and body to a state of heightened awareness we can plant seeds of suggestion in our subconscious that will grow and manifest themselves in our world. This leads to the next topic:
Mysticism: Mind over matter: This is a topic that could be discussed at great length. Suffice it to say, that whatever we focus on consistently, we tend to manifest in our lives. But becareful what you wish for, if your focus is on "I want more money, I WANT more money." You'll manifest more WANTING. The kind of mystical part about this natural law, is that we have to live in the reality that these things will come to us as naturally as a tree falls to the ground (law of gravity) when we create the environment for it and have the desires of our heart in alignment with our thoughts and actions.
Here is the ultimate formula for success:
1. Know your outcome, know what you want out of any situation.
2. Decide and take massive action with consistency
3. Look at your results, notice what your getting
4. Change your approach until you succeed.
Fact is, most people in life, out of fear of failure, don't try anything at all, the ultimate failure.
All of these are ways that people use mind power to become rich.

The elite left use the term "racism" to shut down any discourse because it is politically incorrect to be considered a possible racist. I think this elite group basically thinks they are better suited to decide how the great unwashed public should live because in their view they are more educated and better informed. This may have been true in past centuries when the educated were usually priests, newspaper reporters and educators but I question if it still holds true today. Now the elite use political correctness and a laundry list of "experts" to argue their superiority. I remember the debate when Gore used audible sighs and yawns giving me the impression Gore was so far above his opponent, Gore could not believe he had to waste his time with this debate. Now I may agree President Bush Jr. was not a rocket scientist, but I found Gore rude. As to your question on Anti American, I believe the Far Right brings this label up more than the left to shut conversation.

yes the body has limitations but the power of the mind is limitless....we are all living in our own subjective realities at the same time life is ultimately a dream. If your dream is to be rich and that's what you want out of life ultimately. and you work hard enough at it, you will most likely achieve it either in the material or spiritual realm of consciousness..... but don't forget the meek shall inherit the earth ultimately so there is a fine line between ambition and greed when it comes to wanting so much...

Yes. The more educated you are, the richer you can become. if you dropped out of school in 5th grade, you're probably going to be lucky to get a job as a janitor. If you graduate college and get a Master's degree, you'll be a rich person.
