Tell me a random memory of your childhood?

it doesn't have to be an important moment,just something you remember and you don't really know why....

I remember when I was really little like 2 or 3 pulling the knobs off of an old radio my parents had. Don't know why I remember that but I do...

My mom's best friend worked at the Human Society and we would visit her alot and I remember I must have been about 4 I got in one of the stalls with the most beautiful Afghan Hound and sat with her for over an hour.Have no idea why this memory is so vivid for me but it's almost like it happened yesterday. Guess it was the start of my love for animals.

I have a memory of being very small & short. I was playing in the yard & I don't know if you'll know what I'm talking about but there are cement-like swan plant holders....anyway, I had to crane my head to look up at the face of the swan & I had to reach up to pet this planter. I thought it was like a real swan who became a type of gargoyle (though I didn't know that word then) during the day & transformed into a living bird at night.

It's stupid now, but it was magical to me & I still remember that pretty planter with fondness.

I remember climbing up to the top of the refrigerator to get a box of cherrios. I was about three or four, I had pulled a diningroom chair to the kitchen counter and crawled up like a make-shift staircase. I remember my mom coming in while I was sitting on the top of the refrigerator with my hand in the cereal box and her just laughing!
I got away with a lot because I was just "so cute."

I was 2. We had this plastic Halloween lamp. It was orange and black and it was a black cat and a jackolantern. My dad plugged it in and it exploded. To this day I am gun shy around outlets and electronic stuff.

Taking a bite of my meatball sandwich in 2nd grade and the whole thing squirting out onto my lap while i was wearing a light blue skirt.

Also 2nd grade..running at recess outside on the concrete with my hands in my jacket pockets, tripping, falling on my nose and scraping it from top to bottom.

yes most of my memories involve me being a klutz

Me and my cousin holding his mom's christmas candle lights and singing, "I'd like to teach the world to sing." LoL
Climbing up the side of the barn to the hayloft and having the pig nip at the toes of our tennis shoes.
Hiding in the cornfields.
Picnics at "the old mossy place" lol it sounds so funny to say that now,but it was actually a pretty cool spot.
Taking pink paint and painting different things on the rocks beside the railroad tracks.
My pappaw always eating cornbread and milk when he got home from church on Sunday nights.
This was fun. It made me think about a lot of things that made me smile. Thanks.

Getting ran over by my neighbor when I was in 2nd grade and spending 2 mo in the hospital and another 1 1/2 mo in rehab learning how to walk again.

I was 9-10-11. Id write 'secret' letters to a buddy. Using orange juice. Later, iron on the wrong side to reveal the message...lol

Cutting off all my mother's eyelashes and fingernail with the round pointed scissors because she fell asleep while we were playing paper dolls. She worked nights as a nurse and was exhausted but tried to play anyway. I went to pre-school the next day!
