What should the repercussions be for a parent who happens to be an Evangelist, who has?

mentally and physically abused foster children, and when approached about it can't recall anything. Is she blocking it out or she can't remember because the abuse has happened over 20 years ago? She was an Evangelist when the abuse occured.

okay idaho mike,,,try being tied up .. forced to eat your own feces, slept in the basement, back porch, etc.... shall I go on? I said abuse not spanking.

you would have to define the abuse.... what is percieved as abuse by a child and then alowed to fester into adulthood can take a form that is compleatly different than the facts at the time the percieved abuse occured... The foster parent copuld not remember, posably, because the event was not any thing more than normal disiplin of a child at the time....espacialy in a foster child who has possably been truly abused by others in the past..any disiplin can be turned into abuse by the confusion of time.

over twenty years alot of things can be forgotten.... and what appears like abuse to someone now might not have registered as abuse by the victim or the perpetrator at the time.

If the children are trying to gain closure about the situation, they might need to go to the authorities and let them investigate.

certainly her being an "evangelist" is no excuse and holds her to an even higher standard to conduct herself with honesty and virtue.
