Work for food programs get people off welfare and out in the work force if anything doing anything they could get people better educated because the better a states education the better more high paying jobs that will move in to your area that's just a start there are so many things that could be done different to change the ever growing debt problem in our great U.S.

You can't. Bottom line.
When you have programs in place that simply allow people to collect an income without working, you will not be able to get that individual to work. What happens is those that refuse to work and only take from the taxpayers teach that to their children and so on.
What needs to happen is to remove the programs catering to laziness and force those that refuse to work to work. I have no problems with government sponsored job programs. It saved many Americans in the 20's.
Many Americans have lost their will to work because there are so many handouts they don't have to.

The only solution to poverty is freedom. Freedom from government intusion mostly. Freedom from indoctrination in our public schools. And most of all freedom from leftist propaganda.

Lowering taxes. Raising taxes may be a short term fix but lowering is thinking ahead.
