Urial

It may be a sheep, but a urial is definitely not fluffy: its coat is short-haired and usually brown. About the size of a very big dog, it has large, forward-curving horns and a long neck ruff, or beard. It is long-legged and fast, its tail thinner and longer than those of other sheep. Early humans did not often hunt urials as game, but sheep were among the first animals to be domesticated by people.

Xantus Hummingbirds

Like all hummingbirds, the Xantus has an unusual tongue. The front half of it is split and has fringed edges. The fringed area helps the hummingbird capture insects and soak up nectar during rapid licking. Hummingbirds are attracted to the bright colors of flowers, especially red. In fact, young hummingbirds often mistake brightly colored objects like stop signs—for a food source.

And what about the utterly, unique, uh-inconsequential, unbelievable unknown as well, Uluruesque koala?
