Why do all odds seem against us republicans these days? Are we outdated?

Of course, all they ever do is talk, actions are only taken by Republicans.

You need to get your facts straight before jumping on Democrats for plaguing anyone with lies. The Iraq Study Group was proposed by Rep. Frank Wolf, a Virginia Republican. The group is composed of five Republicans and five Democrats. They made a huge effort to engage bipartisanship and put their party predispositions aside to address the problem of Iraq.
So, if you don't like the outcome of the study, and you need to blame a political party, you best blame the Republicans right along with Democrats, they are every bit as culpable.

No, we basically got dished a bad name by our president and his administration. The media didn't help at all and the Dems had nothing better to do than plot agains and dig dirt on everyone in power.
This is why there should always be an offset...there has to be a counter balance to the party in power. We saw the damage democrats did when they had it all, and now we see the damage republicans did...

It's the old saying, "tell a lie long enough, people believe it"). Liberals disregard the truth for shameless lies and pander to peoples deepest fears. We will retake the senate in '08 and retain the Presidency. The public will see in 2 years the Democrats will accomplish nothing and correct the situation.

Yes, you are outdated. Tell me what "lies" you are referring to. for each example you give, I can give you 5 documented lies by The White House & other Republicians. The American voters got rid of the corrupt GOP's. Live with it.

Politicians know one fact- you say something enough times, no matter how illogical, enough people will believe it.
You can't call the dems on it because they can do it and don't care what fallout comes from it as long as they can gain power. Actually, to answer your question, there is no one left for them to lie to, they got everyone. Things will be back to normal in six years if the nation survives.

What lies would that be? How about WMD, where are they? Iraq did not attack us, so why did we them. See, the repubs lied, and Amercians on both sides stated LOUD and CLEAR on Nov 7th that we are done with that! HOORAY!
